Red Oak partners with Save the Children and UNICEF to provide focused psychosocial and protection services to support 970 children at risk and survivors of violence, exploitation, and abuse.

Most vulnerable children and caregivers in Beirut and Mount Lebanon are receiving Focused psychosocial support, community-based sessions, skills development, and participatory and recreational activities. The project includes creative activities such as art therapy, dance therapy, music therapy, clowning, circus, storytelling performance and expressive arts for women. The services’ aim is to create a healthy environment for children by focusing from one side on their personal growth and healing process and by strengthening from another side the mother-child and the caregivers-child bonds. Play, imagination, art, and the creative process allow children and their families to work through painful experiences and create reparative ones.
