Empowering Lives Through Digital Literacy
Red Oak, in partnership with MTÜ Mondo, organized a vibrant event in Bar Elias, Bekaa, to celebrate the completion of the Digital Competencies and Entrepreneurship training program for women and youth.
During this event, 30 women participated in a dynamic peer-to-peer session, where they shared their experiences and insights on the vital role of digital tools in our lives and discussed how to protect ourselves online. These amazing women not only benefited from the training but also stepped up as facilitators, leading discussions and exchanging valuable knowledge on digital literacy.
In addition to these enriching conversations, the participants proudly exhibited their beautiful handicrafts, including soap, embroidery, and various arts and crafts.
We are deeply grateful to our partner MTÜ Mondo, who not only collaborated with us on this project but also provided a comprehensive Training of Trainers (TOT) on digital competencies to Red Oak staff, enabling us to deliver impactful training to the participants. We also want to extend our thanks to Basmat Amal for their collaboration throughout this initiative.
This project has been made possible with the generous support of ESTDEV - the Estonian Centre of International Development Cooperation.
Together, we are empowering communities, fostering digital literacy, and building a brighter future.
