Fête Ô Pecq: Celebrating and Supporting Lebanese Women Artisans with Red Oak France
This Sunday, our sister association, Red Oak France, participated in the Fête Ô Pecq in the city of Le Pecq in France.
On this special day, Red Oak France showcased unique handicrafts created by women and girls in Lebanon, supporting their journey to autonomy through professional training provided by us at Red Oak Lebanon. Among these treasures were traditional embroidery, crochet items, recycled plastic creations, and handmade natural soaps.
These women, living in precarious conditions, work with passion and determination to improve their quality of life and preserve the traditional crafts of their region. Their talent and commitment were honored, and Red Oak France had the privilege of welcoming Laurence Bernard, the mayor of Le Pecq, to their stand.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the Red Oak friends who supported Red Oak on that day and who were present with us at the stand. Your precious support makes all the difference.
Thank you to everyone who visited and supported this wonderful initiative! Let’s continue to promote and value their incredible work.
