Digital Competencies and Entrepreneurship Program for Women and Children
Red Oak is launching the "Digital Competencies and Entrepreneurship Program for Women and Children", designed to contribute to the development and well-being of vulnerable populations in the Bekaa region (Bar Elias). The project is implemented in partnership with Mondo and with the supportof ESTDEV - the Estonian Centre of International Development Cooperation.
To contribute to alleviating the strain on communities in the Bekaa region and create a healthier environment conducive to socioeconomic improvement and psychosocial support, Red Oak is engaging young Syrian refugee women and vulnerable young Lebanese women in a training program that equips them with digital literacy competencies and entrepreneurial skills.
Red Oak also provides children with essential digital literacy skills, significantly impacting their lives, their communities, and their siblings. By equipping them with digital literacy, they can access online educational resources, communicate effectively, and develop critical thinking abilities. This training will also benefit the community by fostering a digitally literate generation and creating a positive ripple effect within families.
